Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

Pulse reads your business so it can tell you what to do next. This page explains exactly what it reads, what it never touches, and the choices you have.

The short version

Who we are, and our two roles

Pulse is run by KJBSV Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [company number], registered office [registered office address]). "We", "us" and "Pulse" mean KJBSV Limited.

We handle information in two different roles, and the difference matters:

What we collect

When you sign up and use Pulse

From the services you connect

ConnectionWhat we readWhat we never do
Your shop (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce)Orders, products, stock, prices, costs, and customers (name, phone, email, order history)Change anything in your store
WhatsApp BusinessChats on your business number: messages, timestamps, and customers' profile namesRead personal chats or groups; send anything you haven't approved
Gmail or OutlookOnly emails about orders, suppliers, deliveries and paymentsRead or keep any other email
Ad accounts (Meta, Google)Spend and results reportsChange, pause or create ads
Google reviewsYour reviews and ratingsPost replies without you
Bank or payment providerTransactions and payouts, read-only; payment-link creation only if you switch it onMove money

You choose what to connect, and you can disconnect any of it at any time. Pulse will tell you plainly what it can't see yet.

How we use it

We don't sell your information, we don't use it to show you ads, and we don't use one business's data to make recommendations to another. [If you later want to offer anonymised benchmarks across businesses, add it here and ask for consent first.]

How we use AI

Pulse uses AI models to analyse your data and write briefs and drafts. We currently use Anthropic's Claude through its business API. Our AI providers process your information only to answer our requests, under contracts that don't allow them to use it to train their models. [Confirm this against each provider's current commercial terms before publishing.]

The numbers in your brief are calculated by Pulse's own software, not guessed by the AI, and Pulse is designed to say when it isn't sure. AI can still get things wrong โ€” that's why nothing is sent to a customer without your approval, unless you've switched on automatic sending for a specific kind of reply. Complaints always come to you.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), we rely on:

If you're in the UAE or India, we also follow the UAE's Personal Data Protection Law and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, including their rules on consent, purpose and your rights. [Lawyer to confirm local registration or appointment requirements.]

Your customers' information

When Pulse handles your customers' information, it does so only to run Pulse for you. You're responsible for:

If one of your customers asks us about their information, we'll pass the request to you and help you respond.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted suppliers to run Pulse. Each may only use your information to provide their service to us.

The services you connect (like Shopify, Google or Microsoft) have their own privacy policies. We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if our business is sold (and they'd have to honour this policy).

International transfers: some suppliers are outside the UK, UAE or India. Where that happens, we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. [Lawyer to confirm for each supplier.]

How long we keep it

How we protect it

If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you without undue delay and, where required, the relevant regulator.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. The quickest way is to message Pulse on WhatsApp (for example, "delete my data" or "what do you have on me?"), or email [privacy email]. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or your local data protection authority in the UAE or India. [India: name a grievance officer with contact details if required.]

Data processing terms

For your customers' information, the [Data Processing Agreement] forms part of our Terms. It covers the instructions we follow, confidentiality, security, our suppliers, helping you with requests and breaches, and deleting data when you leave. [Publish the DPA as its own page.]

Who Pulse is for

Pulse is for businesses. You must be 18 or over and able to act for your business to use it.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you on WhatsApp before it takes effect.
